about me

Emmeline Kelly, emmelinemedia

I have been a freelance designer for 7 years working with a range of clients but mostly in the construction and housing sectors and through recommendation and contacts I’ve previously worked with.

I’ve been lucky enough to work with clients such as Nicola Dibb Associates, Osborne, Faithful & Gould, Marakon Associates, Galliford Try, PJ Brown Groundworkers, Melrob Ltd, Jenner Construction, Site Sales, Academy Consulting, Henry Construction, Rund Partnership, Builders Conference, Smoke Control Solutions, Fry Window Controls and Women in Social Housing.

Prior to freelancing I worked for a Contractor in Business Development and Marketing and Communications, putting together bid and tender documentation and presentations using Adobe and Microsoft software. I had experience of visiting construction sites, organising and providing creative briefs to photographers, organising events and designing promotional printed material along with internal digital media. I also had a great deal of interest and involvement in the rebranding of the business and its business units.

I entered the world of Marketing, Desk Top Publishing and Graphic Design after reading Sociology at Anglia Ruskin and moving to London. There I started in marketing for a construction client and later worked with Management Consultancies where I learnt the world of graveyard shifts, Microsoft presentations, Adobe and Quark Express and later Web Design.

Now, my family and I have relocated to Exeter to live the Devon life! I work flexibly around my children’s schooling which works well with many of my clients who require out of hours work to be done.
